Angela

I came on here to light you a candle for new year.

Seeing Karen's memory of the time the tube dangley hanger thing came off in your hand in rush hour really made me laugh and I had to add the remainder of the tale. After you had spun down the carriage holding the thing still aloft with everyone blankly looking at you (in the manner customary on tube trains) you were left standing holding a large ball with a spring attached. So what to do with it? You calmly opened your handbag, popped it in and snapped it shut.

It's one hour from 2009 now. I'm playing the Revolver album. I miss you. I will light you a candle tomorrow.

Claire

Dear Angela,

How often I think of you and look back fondly of the times we shared. I still laugh thinking of the tale you recanted once of 'dancing' off balance down the length of an old fashioned tube carriage when the dangly thing from the ceiling you held on to came off in your hand! It might not sound funny reading it here, but is was the way you told it - you could make anyone chuckle.

One day, I will tell my little Katy all about you and other friends I had when I was younger - I really hope she has a passion for wildlife and will certainly encourage her in your memory.

You were a breath of fresh air Angela, your smile would brighten up the dullest day and will always be missed.

With love always,
Karen xxxxxxxxxxx
